Comments: Likely no. Yellowwoods dont do particularly well in heavy soils, espetially in full sun. I might suggest a Zelkova variety or Honeylocust, as they will be more tolerant of harsh conditions. A note about taproots I dont know for sure if yellowwoods have a trong taproot or not, but any tree transplanted balled and burlapped wil have had all roots severed and wont form another strong taproot. Containerized tress should have all circling roots removed before planting, and this usualy removes the taproot as well.
